The color does most of the work
First thing I noticed pulling these out of the bag, that tan isn’t beige-flat, it’s got a little warmth to it, and it makes the Geedup Micro Team Logo Tan Trackpants look like something you’d leave the house in on purpose, honestly. Small logo on the leg. No giant print crawling across the thigh. Fit-wise they sit where trackpants should sit, which is a sentence that sounds like nothing until you’ve had a pair dig into your waist for a whole afternoon. Elastic cuff at the ankle.
I wore mine to the gas station at 7am on a Sunday, and the cuff landed just above my sneaker the way it’s supposed to, no bunching, no hiking them up every twelve steps. That’s the test for me. The waistband doesn’t roll, which is, like, the bare minimum and still half my joggers fail it. Brand-wise, Geedup is Aussie streetwear and the fit shows it. Mine have been through a bunch of washes and they still look like trackpants, because they are trackpants, and I mean that as a compliment.
What you actually wear them with
But tan plays nicer with color than black joggers do, so a faded green tee or a navy crew works, and a plain white tee is kind of the move when the logo is this small. Nothing fights. Sizing is trackpants sizing, so take your normal, and if you’re between sizes I guess go up. The Geedup Micro Team Logo Tan Trackpants don’t need an outfit built around them.
Second thing I noticed, sitting in the driver’s seat with the heat on, the fabric goes warm at the knee in about a minute. Too warm for July, right at home for a 55-degree morning with coffee in one hand and the phone in the other. And the tan picks up a scuff if you clip a curb.
Wait, that’s not right.
It picks up the scuff, then it brushes off with a thumb, no lie.
Half the internet spells it Geed up and a friend of mine calls them Geedup Hoodies , no idea where that came from, but it stuck. So a couple of people have asked, and a handful have bought, which surprised me.
And they feel like sweatpants that got dressed up a little. (I’m picky about cuffs, and these pass.) The Geedup Micro Team Logo Tan Trackpants are the pair I’d grab again, honestly. Have a look at what’s left.
