The fit
Sizing runs true to size. So if you’re a large in most stuff, you’re a large here. The body’s a standard cut, not boxy, not slim. Just a regular hoodie shape that sits right. And the hood has a decent weight to it, doesn’t flop back on your head every five seconds.
How it wears
Pulled this on over a t-shirt at 7am to walk the dog and forgot I had it on until I was sitting in the car at the gas station an hour later, which says something. The fleece inside is soft without being that weird slippery stuff. I’ve washed it a bunch already (cold, hang dry, I’m not ruining it) and the black has stayed black. No fading, no little pills forming on the sleeves. Pretty much what you want.
The GEEDUP TEAM LOGO HOODIE BLACK MONOCHROME GREY is the kind of thing you grab without thinking. Honestly, the grey logo on the black body is the whole reason I picked it. It reads clean. No loud colors, no big graphics screaming at you from across the street. And the kangaroo pocket holds my phone, keys, a couple dog treats. Wait, actually, that’s a lie, the treats go in the little side pocket of my jacket. The hoodie pocket just gets my hands when it’s cold.
What you should know
This is aGeedup piece, so if you know the brand you know what you’re getting. The embroidery on the chest is tight. I’ve had a few people ask about it at the coffee shop. Geed up stuff tends to fit a little different depending on the drop, but this one’s consistent with their standard sizing.
If you’ve been looking at Geedup Hoodies or other pieces from them and wondered about the hoodies, this is a good place to start. It’s a neutral colorway that goes with everything, which is more than I expected honestly. The cuffs are ribbed and they hold their shape. The drawcords are flat, not round, which I like (round ones always come untied).
One thing. The black is a deep black, not that faded charcoal that looks black in photos but isn’t. My wife thought it was navy in the hallway light. It’s not. It’s black.
Anyway, if you’re on the fence, just check the size chart and go from there. Take a look.
