The fit is the thing
Sits right at the hip. Not cropped, not long. The hood has some weight to it, which honestly matters when you’re walking into wind. I wore it to a gas station at 11pm last week and the cashier asked where it was from. That’s the whole review, really. The orange on the chest reads brighter in person, and the burnt tone on the sleeves is darker, so it doesn’t look like you’re wearing a traffic cone. Geedup makes stuff that holds up after a few washes too. Mine’s been through a bunch and the print hasn’t cracked. And the inside is soft without that fuzzy soft that pills after two wears. More like a broken-in t-shirt.
I wore it on a five-hour drive once, actually, no, it was more like four hours, and I forgot I had it on. That’s the best compliment a hoodie can get. You know how some hoodies feel like you’re wearing a bag. This one doesn’t. The GEEDUP HANDSTYLE HOODIE BLACK ORANGE BURNT sits on your shoulders instead of hanging off them, and the cuffs stay put without squeezing your wrists, which you don’t notice until you’ve worn a bad one. Small thing. Makes a difference when you’re actually wearing it all day.
What it goes with
They work with jeans. Sweats too. And it’s black, so everything else works, but the orange gives it something to look at. I’ve worn it with grey sweats and beat-up sneakers more than I’d like to admit. Geed up is one of those brands that people either know or they don’t, and the ones who know will nod at you in a crowded parking lot.
For real.
The Geedup Hoodies fit is a little boxier than this one, if you’ve tried those. This one’s a bit more trim through the body. Not tight. Less floaty, honestly.
So yeah. The GEEDUP HANDSTYLE HOODIE BLACK ORANGE BURNT is the one I grab when I’m running late and don’t want to think. It’s a good hoodie. The kind you reach for without thinking. Sits right, looks right, and the orange doesn’t fade into nothing after a month. There’s a second one in my cart already. (Don’t judge me.)
