Tuesday morning, 7:40, you’re doing that one-legged hop trying to get the other leg in without sitting down. The Geedup Play For Keeps Black/White Trackpants don’t fight you on it. Drawstring, elastic, done. The black and white paneling is loud enough to look like you meant it and quiet enough that nobody asks what band you’re wearing. Honestly, I threw them on to take the trash out. Ended up at the gas station two hours later. No lie.
How they sit on a normal Tuesday
They sit where you leave them. Waistband stays put, cuff stays snug on the ankle, no riding up when you crouch for the bottom shelf. I wore mine through a whole afternoon of errands and forgot I had them on by the third stop. Which is the nicest thing I can say about pants. The handfeel is that sort of dry cotton that goes soft after a wash or two, not the slick stuff that slides off the car seat. Wait, that’s not right. They do slide a little. But in a good way.
What you’d actually wear them with
A hoodie. A tee and slides. A clean pair of sneakers if you’re trying. Geedup makes a bunch of stuff that pairs with these without looking like you bought the whole outfit at once, which is a thing people worry about more than they admit. The Geed up look is the point, but you don’t have to go all in. I wore them with an old white tee to the mailbox and back. Then to the actual store. Nobody blinked. These pants don’t need a whole production.
One thing. The cuff is snug. Not tight, snug. If you’ve got wide ankles or you just hate a cuff that hugs, it might bug you. I got used to it by the second wear (kind of into it now, actually). And the white side panels will show a scuff if you drag your feet, so maybe don’t do that. But for real, most days these are the pants I grab when I don’t want to think.
Geedup Hoodies people know the brand for the hoodies. These pants fit right into that same lane. Not flashy. Not trying to be something they’re not.
If you’re looking for something to throw on when the plan is nothing and the day turns into something anyway, take a look at these. You’ll probably get it. I did.
