Honestly the first time I held the Geedup Handstyle Trackpants Orange Black/Burnt I just stood in the hallway with them, kind of stunned at how loud that orange is.
The color is the whole story
Orange and black with a burnt shade mixed in. That’s the deal. I keep wanting to call it brown, and actually, no, it’s a darker orange doing its own thing. Rust in the shade, almost red in the sun, and I still can’t pick which I like more. Anyway, people look. A handful asked me where I got them in the first week, and I’ll be honest, I kind of enjoyed saying it was Geedup.
First morning I had them on was a Saturday, coffee in one hand, keys in the other, walking out to the mailbox in slides, and the whole street was gray and sleepy except for my legs, which felt like a traffic cone, in a good way. It was like, a lot of orange for 8am, and I did not care.
Sitting around in them
Same pair, different day. I sat in the car for about forty minutes and forgot I had them on, which is probably the best thing I can say about any pair of pants, and I don’t hand that out often. They feel easy to wear, the kind you stop thinking about by lunch. And I’m saying that as someone who gets annoyed by waistbands. (Black pants are boring now, I said it.)
What goes on top
Black hoodie, plain sneakers. Pretty much anything works because the Geedup Handstyle Trackpants Orange Black/Burnt do all the talking. Put a loud top on and it fights, it’s like a shouting match on your body, and I tried a bright green shirt once and looked like a fruit stand, so no. Plain and dark up top, that’s the move. Grab a cap if you want, skip it if you don’t.
Why I kept going back
If you say Geed up out loud it already sounds like a mood, and this pair is pretty much that. I went through a bunch of Geedup Hoodies pages before landing on it, and honestly nothing else was this loud while still being something I’d leave the house in. But orange makes me nervous. That’s why I wanted it.
So go look at the Geedup Handstyle Trackpants Orange Black/Burnt in whatever light you’ve got, check your size, maybe just stare at the orange for a bit. I did.
