Last Tuesday I grabbed the Geedup Pennant Pant Bone 3.0 off the chair at seven in the morning, still half asleep, and didn’t think about it even once. That’s kind of the point. Zero effort.
The gas station stop
Around ten I was at a gas station, one hand on the pump and the other in a pocket, and I realized I wasn’t tugging at the waistband or checking how the legs were hanging, which is a thing I usually do without noticing. Pretty much a non-event. And honestly, that’s about the best thing I can say about any pair of pants. No lie, I checked twice. Bone is the color, a pale one, and it looked, like, totally fine against the black pump. (Better in daylight, honestly, but that’s just me.) Marks were my worry, a lot of worry, right up until I put them on.
They feel easy to wear, and by lunch you’ve forgotten they’re on.
What I put with them
So I paired them with whatever top was nearest. A plain tee, mostly, and once a hoodie that has seen better days. If your closet is already mostly Geedup Hoodies, this is the bottom half that was missing, and I mean that literally. Actually, no, that’s too strong, they’d go with a bunch of other things I own. Try them with white socks.
What I’d tell a friend
In the car I felt the fabric on my thighs for about a minute and then I stopped noticing it, and I’ve been driving in them since without a single thought about my legs. Take my opinion as one person’s, since I’m not the longest-running geed up fan. I wore them to a friend’s place and sat on a low couch for two hours with my knees up, and that is the only real test I care about. But the Geedup Pennant Pant Bone 3.0 is the first pair in a while that I haven’t wanted to swap out by noon. Long name, I know.
If you’ve mostly watched Geed up from the sidelines, I get it, a pair of pants is a pretty low-key way to start. Saturday I walked to the mailbox in flip flops with a coffee in one hand and the pants from the day before, and the dog next door barked at me anyway.
The Geedup Pennant Pant Bone 3.0 is on the page whenever you feel like looking, and I’d just start with the photos and see.
