Hood up before I’d even shut the car door at the gas station. It was 6 a.m., so no, nobody needed to see my face. The Geedup Dobermann Washed Black Hoodie was just whatever I’d grabbed off the chair in the dark, and honestly that’s how it keeps happening.

The wash looks worn in already, and I mean that as a good thing.

What it goes with

Jeans, mostly. Sometimes the grey sweats I should’ve retired a year ago, and if the house is cold I’ll put a tee underneath, though I’ve gone to the mailbox and back with nothing underneath, no lie, in the rain, with the hood doing a decent job on its own. Wear it with sneakers or boots, either works. But I’d say it looks best a little rumpled, like it spent the night on a chair. So don’t iron anything, I guess. Actually, no, nobody irons a hoodie, scrap that. It’s, like, the one thing in my closet that never looks wrong when I’m in a hurry.

The second time I wore the Geedup Dobermann Washed Black Hoodie was to a cousin’s thing where everybody else dressed up, and I stood by the snack table a little underdressed, totally fine, and nobody said one word about it. Everyone else looked stiff (a suit will do that to you), and I looked like I’d just woken up. I’d almost changed in the car. Glad I didn’t.

Check the sizing first, because I can’t tell you how it sits on your frame. You stop noticing it’s on after about ten minutes or so. I own a bunch of hoodies that fit different from the tag, more than I expected, so I’d rather say that than guess. Quick side story. My brother says Geed up as two words and gets corrected by every friend he has, and I stopped weighing in a long time ago, because nobody wins that argument and everybody’s already decided.
