Where it ends up
The first time I grabbed the Geedup Signature Black Hoodie Peach off the chair it was already seven in the morning and I was late, so I yanked it on in the hallway and forgot about it until lunch. Honestly, that’s the best thing I can say about it.
Pull it over your head and you stop thinking about it, which is the whole point of a hoodie.
Black does most of the work. The peach is what people actually mention, a small bright thing on an otherwise dark hoodie, and I keep catching it in the car window at red lights with the hood half up, wondering why I like it more than the grey one I already own. Weird, I know. A bunch of friends have asked where it’s from and I just say Geedup and leave it there. No lie, that never gets old. So I stopped pretending I’d wear anything else that week. It’s like the thing I reach for before I even look, and I hadn’t planned on that.
Wearing it around
Gas station stops are where it gets tested. You’re standing at the pump with the sleeves shoved up and the hood bunched behind your neck, the card reader is taking forever, you realize you’ve been out there a full minute longer than you needed to, and you honestly don’t mind.
Mailbox walk at night, socks and slides, nothing else on. And Geed up is how a lot of people search for it, so if you typed it that way, same.
I’ve worn the Geedup Signature Black Hoodie Peach to a friend’s place and to the store, and pretty much anywhere else I didn’t have to think about it. (Black is the right call here, for real, but that’s just me.)
But I should be straight about one thing. It’s a hoodie, so it’s kind of loud next to a plain grey one, and some people love that and some people don’t. Actually, no, loud isn’t the word. Noticed is closer.
Some people call this stuff Geedup Hoodies, which I assumed was a joke until I saw how many people say it with a straight face. Fine, fine. It’s growing on me.
Anyway, the Geedup Signature Black Hoodie Peach is right there on the page if you feel like poking around, and I’m still deciding what goes best with it, so maybe you’ll know before I do.
