First thing I noticed was the pistachio color, between faded lime and green tea ice cream. It’s like, a green that doesn’t try too hard. Geedup Micro Team Logo Pistachio Trackpants showed up on my doorstep on a Tuesday and I wore them to the gas station that night (the one with the good coffee) just to see how they felt walking around.
How they sit
Waist lands where it should. No weird gape in the back when you bend to tie a shoe. I did the squat test and nothing slid down, which honestly should be the standard (a low bar, I know). Cuffs are snug enough not to drag. Not tight enough to mark. Actually, no, they do leave a faint one if you sleep in them. And the fabric has a little weight. Not heavy. Present.
The side pockets are deep enough for a phone and keys but they’re not zip, so if you’re out running around things will move and you’ll feel it, plus you can’t really trust a pocket without a zip when you’re sitting down, which I learned the hard way. For real though, these aren’t running pants.
One morning I drove to the store with coffee in the cup holder and the fabric against my thigh felt cool at first then warmed up to my leg and I forgot I was even wearing them until I got out of the car. Nothing scratchy. And the logo on the Geedup Micro Team Logo Pistachio Trackpants is small enough that you have to look for it. That’s the point of the micro thing I guess.
The color does most of the work here.
Where they work
Honestly, a bunch of spots. Couch. Quick errand where you don’t want real pants. I wore them to the mailbox and ended up standing there talking to a neighbor for twenty minutes with the cuffs brushing my ankles. And you know what? Stand there long enough and you’ll forget you’re wearing them. Fine. Simple. And simple is really all I want from a pair of pants.
Geedup makes a few different cuts and this one feels like the most regular fit of the bunch. Nothing fancy. Geed up in something quiet. If you’re curious, it’s an easy entry point. A few people call them Geedup Hoodies and honestly that nickname works. Who knows. Anyway, the Geedup Micro Team Logo Pistachio Trackpants are worth a look if you want something other than gray sweats.
