You know that pair you reach for when the rest of your closet feels wrong. That’s these. The Geedup PFK Grey Trackpants have been my default since the day they showed up.
The fit is what gets you
They sit right at the waist. Cuffs are snug enough that they don’t drag. Honestly, I’ve worn them to the gas station at 7am in slides and a hoodie and then to a buddy’s place for dinner and nobody blinked because grey trackpants just sort of disappear into whatever you’re doing. The Geedup PFK Grey Trackpants don’t try too hard and that’s the whole appeal.
Kind of boring in a good way.
And the fabric is softer than I expected. Soft against your thigh when you first pull them on. No stiff feel. I wore them on a three hour drive and there was no bunching behind the knees, wait actually no, there was a little bunching, but nothing you’d notice after five minutes, which honestly surprised me because most trackpants I’ve owned get uncomfortable around hour two and stay that way until you take them off and that’s usually when I start regretting the whole purchase, but these just kind of settle in and stay comfortable, and that matters more than you’d think when you’re sitting in a car for that long. That’s not these.
Wearing them out
A handful of ways. Slides to the store. Wear sneakers if you’re trying to look like you tried. Balling them up in a gym bag for after. The Geed up tag on the hip is small enough that it doesn’t scream. People ask where they’re from.
Simple works best. Hoodie, these pants, done. Or grab a tee if the weather’s warm. Don’t overthink it. That’s the routine.
They wash fine. Cold water, hang dry, and they’re still grey. Still soft. The Geedup Hoodies reputation for holding up is real. I was skeptical too. But here we are, six washes in and they look exactly like they did on day one (which is to say, normal grey, no fading, no weird pilling yet).
For real though, the Geedup thing is just a look at this point. Throw them on and head out. I guess they’re just easy to throw on. Like, no thinking required. If you’re on the fence about the Geedup PFK Grey Trackpants, just grab a pair and see. They’re not going to change your life or anything, but you’ll probably wear them more than you expect.
