The actual hoodie
Pulled it out of the dryer and my roommate asked if it was new. Nope. Had it for a bit. The fleece inside is still soft though, which surprised me honestly. GEEDUP TEAM LOGO HOODIE BLACK MONOCHROME GREY is one of those pieces you reach for without thinking. You know the type.
What it feels like
Wore it to the gas station at like 11pm last week. The gray held up fine under those terrible fluorescent lights (which is saying something). Fabric has some weight to it. Not that thin stuff that clings. And the black logo sits clean against the gray, no loud colors fighting each other. Just simple. Geedup keeps it plain and that works here.
I wore this on a drive to my sister’s place, about two hours each way. The hood doesn’t strangle you when you’re sitting. Sleeves are long enough but not that awkward extra length where you’re swimming. For real, that matters on a long drive.
Sizing and all that
Runs pretty true, I guess. I went with my normal size and it fits how I wanted. Not boxy, not tight. The kind of fit where you can layer a tee under it or just throw it on over nothing. Geed up stuff tends to run consistent in my experience. Wait, actually no, I’ve only tried a couple pieces from them. But this one was fine.
The kangaroo pocket sits at the right height. Phone doesn’t slide out when you lean forward. Small thing but you notice it after a while.
The boring stuff
Washed it a handful of times. Cold water, hang dry. No fading yet. The seams look solid. Drawstrings haven’t frayed. Geedup Hoodies makes gear that doesn’t fall apart, or at least this piece hasn’t.
I’ve worn it to the store, to class, to bed honestly. It’s that kind of hoodie. You know how some pieces just end up being the one you grab every time. This is that one for me right now.
