You know that pair of pants you reach for without thinking? The ones on the chair. Yeah. These are trying to be that. The Team Logo/Handtstyle Trackpant Black/Grey/White has a graphic down the leg that isn’t screaming at you. It’s just there. Kind of like a sticker on a laptop you forgot about.
How they actually fit
They sit how track pants should. Not tight, not parachute baggy. Pretty much straight down from the hip. The cuff at the ankle does its job and stays put. Honestly, I wore them on a four-hour drive to my sister’s place and the waistband didn’t dig in once. That’s the whole test, right? And they don’t swish loud when you walk into a quiet gas station at 11pm. Small thing. Big thing.
The fabric has a little weight to it. More than I expected from a basic trackpant, which is good because thin black pants show every single dog hair you own. These don’t. For real, I checked.
Where you’d wear them
School run. Grocery store. The airport, definitely the airport. Those are the obvious ones. But also, and this is the real answer, on the couch on a Sunday when you told yourself you’d go for a run and then didn’t. No lie, that’s most of it. They look enough like you tried if someone rings the doorbell, which is the bar I’m working with these days.
If you know Geedup, you already get the vibe. It’s that same lane of streetwear that doesn’t feel like a costume. The Geed up stuff has always been about wearing it, not framing it. And yeah, people call the pants Geedup Hoodies and honestly that’s just what they are. A good pair of doodies. Wait, that’s not right. A solid pair. There.
One pocket thing. The side pockets are deep enough that your phone doesn’t slide out when you sit down in the car, which is a tiny detail I notice now because I’ve lost a phone to shallow pockets before. Never again.
Grab a pair and see how long they stay on your chair. My money’s on a while. Take a look at the full drop.
