First wear
Got the GEEDUP TEAM LOGO VINTAGE WASHED HOODIE BLACK on a Thursday and wore it to the mailbox Friday morning, cold enough that I kept the hood up the whole walk. Weird detail but the inside feels brushed, soft against the neck, not scratchy like some washed stuff. Fit is relaxed. Not sloppy relaxed, the shoulders sit right and the sleeves don’t swallow my hands. I’m usually a medium and this medium is good enough with a tee under it. (I did try it over a flannel once and felt like a lumberjack, so maybe skip that.) The wash is the thing. It looks like it’s been through a hundred laundry cycles already, which I mean in a good way, faded at the seams and the cuffs, not uniform gray. Fabric is mid-weight. Not paper thin. And the cuffs have a chewed-up look without actually being chewed up. So it drapes instead of sitting stiff.
The logo
Team logo is across the chest and it’s not huge. Wore it to a diner at like 9 on a Saturday and nobody stared, which is what I want. Geedup on the front reads vintage too, cracked a little on purpose, not shiny. And the black is that dusty black, not jet. So it pairs with jeans without looking like a uniform. Been into Geed up for a minute, ever since the Geedup Hoodies drop, and this one fits that same lane. The hood holds its shape when you drop it, mostly. Actually no, it collapses after a few hours and then it’s just a normal hood, fine. The drawstrings are flat, not round, which sounds minor until you’ve had a round one smack you in the eye.
Sizing and washing
Sized true. If you want it baggy, go up. And the pocket is deep enough for a phone and a set of keys, not much else. Cold wash, hang dry, that’s it. After a few wears the GEEDUP TEAM LOGO VINTAGE WASHED HOODIE BLACK still looks washed, which is the point. And the GEEDUP TEAM LOGO VINTAGE WASHED HOODIE BLACK hasn’t bled onto a white tee yet, so that’s a win. More than I expected from a washed hoodie honestly.
Maybe check it out if you’ve been eyeing it. Or keep thinking about it, that’s how I ended up with a closet full of black hoodies and zero complaints.
