Seven in the morning, no coffee yet, and I’m standing at the mailbox in the Geedup PFK Blue Trackpants like I planned the whole thing.
What they feel like on a normal day
Honestly, they’re pretty much the first thing I grab now. Blue, obviously. It looks fine next to a white tee and also fine next to a gray hoodie I should have washed last week, and I know that sounds like a small thing, but a bunch of my mornings get decided by whether the first two things I pick up even match, so I stopped overthinking it. Pull them on, grab keys. And by the time I reach the gas station I’ve forgotten what I’m wearing, which is the best I can say about any pair of pants.
They feel like pants you stop thinking about after ten minutes.
Where I keep wearing them
Car rides, mostly. Last weekend the Geedup PFK Blue Trackpants rode with me for a forty minute drive, and I never once shifted around in the seat, which I noticed before anything else. Actually, no, it was the walk back from the store with a bag in each hand, the pants just moving along with me and nothing left to fix. A few other things matter too, I guess. But those two stuck.
My cousin calls anything from Geedup a uniform, which is fair, because I wear it more than I should admit. (The blue looks better outside than under store lights, I think.) Somebody at the store asked if I was Geed up for something. I said, like, no, just pants. The group chat calls all of it Geedup Hoodies now. So I quit correcting them.
The lazy days
Sunday is the other time they come out. Couch, takeout on my lap. Some show I’ve already seen twice playing for the noise, and I’ve been in the trackpants since noon because changing felt like a whole project. I put real pants on once to run to the pharmacy, and I kept noticing the difference every time I sat down, so I went home and switched back, which tells you something, or at least it tells me something. No lie, that’s about as honest as a review gets.
The Geedup PFK Blue Trackpants are on this page if you want to see the blue yourself, and maybe it’ll look different on your screen than it did to me at the mailbox, but I’m not promising anything, anyway, just go look.
