I only meant to grab the mail. Then I was halfway around the block in the Geedup PFK Tape TrackPants Grey, still holding two envelopes, kind of surprised at myself, because the evening was nice and going back inside felt like a waste.
They feel like pants you forget you have on.
What it’s like after an hour
It’s a pair of grey track pants from Geedup with tape on them, pretty much, and I mean that kindly. Plain, in a good way. And no, I’m not going to pretend there’s a big story here. Fit is what I keep circling back to. Actually, no, what I keep circling back to is how little I think about them, which is the whole thing. Forty minutes in the passenger seat on the way to my aunt’s and I never once tugged at a knee. Nothing. Easy to throw on, easy to leave on. A bunch of other pants I own can’t say that (a little embarrassing, honestly).
Grey is a safe color, kind of boring even, but safe is why it works. Black hoodie on top and you’re done getting dressed. For a white tee it’s the same story, no lie, and honestly I’ve worn the Geedup PFK Tape TrackPants Grey with both inside one week and can’t tell you which I liked more.
Pull them on after work and the couch wins, every time. Like, you tell yourself ten minutes, and then it’s nine at night and the sink is still full, which is fine, I guess, because the dishes will keep.
I don’t have fit numbers, I never measured a thing. But they stayed put when I crouched to tie a shoe, and again when I hauled laundry up two flights, and I’ll admit I was waiting for something to ride up, because that’s what usually happens with pants I buy online, and nothing did. Probably luck.
A word on the name
Some people type geed up with a space, and I get it, since the name is a little odd the first time. Fair enough. It took me a minute too. But maybe all you’ve got so far is Geedup Hoodies from a group chat and a hunch. So look.
The Geedup PFK Tape TrackPants Grey are on the page if you feel like a look. Check the photos first, see how the grey sits next to whatever’s already in your closet, and go from there. No rush.
