First Wear
Pulled the GEEDUP CHROME ROSE TEE BLACK out of the mailer and the chrome rose graphic caught the kitchen light, which I did not expect, and I stood there holding it up for a second like an idiot because it honestly looked better than the pictures did. Black tee, silver rose. That’s it. Soft right away, not that stiff cotton feel some tees have when they’re brand new and haven’t been washed yet. Wore it to the corner store around 8pm and the guy behind the counter gave it a look. Nothing said. Just a look, and I took that as a good sign, since he sees everybody’s shirts all day and he doesn’t look at most of them. And the tag didn’t itch, which is a dumb thing to care about but I do.
How It Fits
The GEEDUP CHROME ROSE TEE BLACK runs true to size, maybe a hair long in the body, which I don’t mind because I hate when a tee rides up when I reach for something on a shelf at the store, and the collar didn’t stretch out after a couple of washes either, which is the thing that usually kills a tee for me. So that’s a win. Sleeves hit mid-bicep. Not too short. (I’m picky about sleeves.) If you’re between sizes, go up. Actually, no, go with your normal one. Depends how you wear it. Wore it under a hoodie one cold morning and it didn’t bunch up at the waist, which is more than I expected.
The Graphic
Chrome rose holds up. A few washes in and it hasn’t cracked or peeled, and I’ve washed it with a bunch of other stuff, not careful at all, just thrown in with whatever. Geedup does graphics like this well. Anyone into Geed up gear will know the look, and the GEEDUP CHROME ROSE TEE BLACK still feels like, easy, you know, the kind of tee you grab off the chair without thinking. Sat in the car after picking up food and the black didn’t show a grease spot, which surprised me. Geedup Hoodies clearly know what they’re doing. Pairs with jeans. Shorts work too. But also fine on its own if you don’t feel like layering, and the black hasn’t faded to that washed-out gray that black tees go to after a month. Take a look if you want something that just works.
