Out of the Bag
Pulled the GEEDUP STRONG ARM CREWNECK BLACK DEPARTMENT out of the mailer and the black looked flat, in a good way, like it had been washed already and softened up before it ever got to me, and I wore it that same night to pick up food because I didn’t feel like changing. Soft against the neck. No scratching. Geedup prints the department name across the chest and it reads clean without shouting. And it’s black. Just black. (Nobody needs a logo the size of a billboard.)
How It Sits
The GEEDUP STRONG ARM CREWNECK BLACK DEPARTMENT runs true to size with a little room in the body, and the collar didn’t stretch after a couple of wears, which is usually the first thing to go on a crewneck and the reason I stopped buying cheap ones. Actually, no, that’s not fair, some cheap ones hold up fine. But still. The cuffs hug your wrist without cutting in. And the hem sits at the hip instead of riding up when I reach for something on a shelf at the store. (I’ve got a long torso. It matters.)
Around Town
Wore it on a Sunday drive to grab coffee, and the black didn’t pick up lint from my car seat, which sounds small until you own a black crewneck that does. A few people have asked where it’s from. Geed up gear tends to get that, especially the plainer stuff, since it doesn’t yell at you from across the room.Geedup Hoodies know the look. The GEEDUP STRONG ARM CREWNECK BLACK DEPARTMENT still feels like, easy, you know, the kind of thing you throw on over a tee when it’s chilly and you can’t be bothered. Layers under a jacket without bunching at the shoulders. Pairs with jeans. Sweats work too. So take a look if you want something that just works without a whole production.
Washing It
Threw it in with the regular load, cold, no special treatment, and it came out the same black it went in, which is more than I expected from a black crewneck because they usually go gray after a month of that. Dried on low. No shrinking that I noticed. The print didn’t crack either, and I’ve washed it a bunch of times now, not careful, just tossed in with whatever. And it hasn’t pilled under the arms. Black stays black. That’s really all I ask.
