The Orange One
Wore this Geedup Script Logo Orange Crewneck three days straight last week. Not on purpose. Just how it landed. The orange is loud in a good way. Like, you know exactly which drawer it’s in without turning on the light. Pulled it on for a quick gas station run and ended up talking to some guy about it for ten minutes. He wanted to know where I got it. Told him, then got distracted by the coffee machine and forgot to finish the story.
The fit is relaxed without being sloppy. Sleeves hit right. Waist sits where it should. I’ve washed it more than I expected already, and the color hasn’t faded or gotten that weird crunchy thing going on. Still feels like, soft against the arms, you know. Geed up keeps it simple. Script across the chest, no extra noise.
How I Wear It
Morning walks with the dog. That’s my main thing. There’s this stretch of sidewalk near my place that gets full sun around 8am, and the crewneck is warm enough for it but not so heavy that I’m sweating by the time I get back. Wore it in the car once with the windows down and the fabric caught the air just right. Sounds dumb. But it’s the little stuff.
Geedup stuff runs a touch roomy, so if you want it snug, maybe size down. I didn’t. No regrets. (Also, my roommate keeps trying to steal it, which I guess is a good sign.) The color works with jeans, joggers, whatever. A bunch of my stuff is black and this breaks it up without feeling like I’m trying too hard.
The Details
Ribbed cuffs hold their shape. Neckline doesn’t stretch out. And the script logo is stitched clean, no peeling or cracking after a few washes. Geedup Hoodies knows what they’re doing with basics. It’s not fancy. It’s just right. Actually, no, it’s better than that. I wore it to a backyard thing last weekend and spilled a little mustard on the sleeve. Washed right out. Not a trace.
So yeah, it’s the orange crewneck I keep reaching for. Take a look if you’ve been on the fence about the color.
