Pulled it on at 7:40 on a Tuesday, coffee going cold on the roof of the car, and honestly that was the last time I thought about it all morning. The GEEDUP TEAM LOGO MARLE HOODI EWHEAT had been sitting in the bag by the door since the day before, tags still on, because I’m lazy about tags. Grey marle body with the team logo across the chest. It’s plain everywhere else.
Wait, that’s not right. The logo does plenty of talking, and the rest of it just stays out of the way.
Wearing it
Hood’s the part I keep messing with. It’s cut big enough to pull up without a fight, and the drawcords hang right where my hands go while I’m standing at a gas station waiting on somebody who said five minutes and meant twenty. I’ve taken it to the mailbox and back more than I expected, and once to the corner shop, which barely counts, I know. And the marle hides what a paler hoodie shows by day two. So this one lives on the hook now. My older Geedup gear is still in the drawer, but it’s not the first one I grab.
A hoodie is a hoodie.
The pocket takes a phone and keys and I still patted it twice walking out to the car, which is, like, a me problem. Sleeves run long enough to pull over my knuckles when it’s cold, and the cuffs snap back instead of going baggy, and the inside has that brushed thing against your neck that keeps the hood up a little longer than you meant, actually no, that’s backwards, keeps it up when you meant to take it down. Either way. Wore the GEEDUP TEAM LOGO MARLE HOODI EWHEAT through a whole Saturday of errands and forgot about it until the hallway mirror.
But yeah, it’s a Geed up logo hoodie, so people notice. A buddy asked about the Geedup Hoodies on my hook before he even said hello. Kind of funny. (I still don’t know what he meant by doodies, for the record.)
How it fits
Sizing runs how it runs, I guess. I went with what I normally wear and it sits right, roomy in the shoulders, no bunching under a jacket. Fabric’s soft. Soft is the word, I’ll say it twice. If the GEEDUP TEAM LOGO MARLE HOODI EWHEAT sounds like your thing, take a look.
