Trackpants get grabbed without a second look, which is the point of owning a few pairs. This Team Logo x Irongate White Marle/Grey T Trackpant has been the first thing off the chair most mornings. Grey marle, logo on the leg, done.
How they sit
Mine sit at the hip, not up around the ribs. So they work with the shirt untucked, which is how I wear everything anyway, more or less. The legs are roomy enough to forget about by lunch. If you’ve been on the fence about Geed up stuff, this is a calm way in.
Where they end up
Tuesday I wore them to the gas station at 7am for coffee and a bag of ice, and the girl behind the counter didn’t look at me twice, which is the correct amount of attention for a trackpant. Then I drove to my sister’s with the seat heater on and the grey marle didn’t feel strange against the backs of my knees. Small thing. Big thing, actually. Geedup gear usually goes harder than this. This one doesn’t. And that’s why it lives in the drawer you can reach without turning on the light. Wearing the Team Logo x Irongate White Marle/Grey T Trackpant is mostly not thinking about it.
The waistband is the part I’d check first, honestly, because a bad one ruins the whole thing, but this one holds without digging in at the 4pm mark after sitting too long and you stand up and nothing needs fixing.
Wearing them out
Pair them with a hoodie and beaters. I guess what I mean is they don’t fight anything. If you’ve had a pair that bunched at the knee when you stood up, you know why I keep going back to this one, and it’s not the logo, although the logo is fine. But they’re like, a grey pant. (Not that anyone asked.)
Sizing runs like the rest of the Geedup Hoodies I own, so take your normal. Wait, that’s not right. I only own two pairs from them.
Simple, really. They’re the pair you leave in the car. The pair for the 11pm pickup, when you’re half asleep and the seat is cold and grey marle is grey marle. People who wear geedup will know what I mean. For real, that’s the whole review.
The Team Logo x Irongate White Marle/Grey T Trackpant is an easy pant to own, honestly. Take a look if grey marle is your thing.
