Most of them are stiff little boxes or they cost about what yours did. This one lands somewhere in the middle. The GEEDUP TEAM LOGO HOODIE BLACK BLUE 2.0 BABY is a black hoodie with the blue team logo across the chest, and honestly that’s the whole pitch.
And it looks good. Like, actually good, which is more than you can say for most of the drawer.
Nothing dressed up about it.
The blue does the work against the black, which is why you clock it from a parking lot and why it doesn’t scream. Pull it over a plain tee and you’re done. It goes with the grey sweats, which is more than you can say for the dinosaur shirt your kid refuses to take off. But your kid won’t fight you on it, which is most of the battle. The car seat test
The car seat is the first test. Two minutes into the drive with the GEEDUP TEAM LOGO HOODIE BLACK BLUE 2.0 BABY on and the hood’s half over one eye, the whole thing bunched up behind the shoulders, so you’re twisted around at a red light flattening it back down, and then it’s wrong again at the next light, which is just what a hoodie does on somebody that small and nobody warns you.
Second thing is the walk to the end of the driveway and back, which kind of takes forever because he stops every few feet to inspect the concrete like it’s the first concrete anybody’s ever seen. Hood up. Doing that slow toddler stomp on cold concrete. Standing in the cold and he still won’t come back inside.
It washes easy. Actually, no, it’s easy until you leave the GEEDUP TEAM LOGO HOODIE BLACK BLUE 2.0 BABY in the machine overnight and pull out something that smells like a basement, which is your fault and not the hoodie’s. So it goes in with a handful of other kid stuff and comes back the same black. (I’d skip the dryer, personally.)
Handing it down
